Do you have views about the natural environment and how it is managed? Have your say at one of a series of community consultation events taking place in May and June.
The aim is to capture the opinions of local people and groups about how best to manage natural resources in the River Tawe Catchment area from the Brecon Beacons to Swansea Bay. Each evening session will provide an opportunity to raise concerns and suggest ideas about your local environment.
The first six community evenings are as follows:
7th May: 6.30–8pm, Forge Fach Community & Resource Centre, Clydach
14th May: 6.30–8pm, Ystradgynlais Welfare Hall, Ystradgynlais
19th May: 6.00–8.30pm, The Environment Centre, Swansea
26th May: 6.00–8pm, Vivian Hall, Blackpill, Swansea
3rd June: 6.30–8pm, Crymlyn Bog Visitor Centre, Dinam Road, Port Tennant
5th June: 6.30–8.30pm, Ostreme Centre, Mumbles
10th June: 6.30–8.30pm, Vetch Community Garden or Salvation Army Citadel, Richardson Street, Swansea (venue depending on weather)
Light refreshments and snacks will be served at each event.
If you are interested in attending one of these events, please email Lea Halborg at email@example.com stating which event and whether you will be representing a local group.
