A Smart Way to Avoid Waste

Return to previous page

A new project has been established in Swansea which links the construction industry with not-for-profit organisations, enabling them to access small quantities of unused, surplus building materials donated by the construction industry at heavily discounted rates. This means giving useful materials a second chance, avoiding costly disposal and diverting materials from landfill, so it’s a win-win.

All not-for-profit organisations – like community groups, schools and social enterprises – are eligible to use the service. They can visit the project’s website to browse the available listings and set up a wish list to source the exact materials they need for their project.
